Manchester United has reportedly expressed interest in Eduardo Camavinga, the Real Madrid midfielder, who may be available for transfer this summer.

The France international has struggled to meet expectations at the Bernabeu, often filling in various roles including midfield and occasionally left-back. Initially regarded as one of football's top wonderkids, Camavinga has transitioned into a more utility role at Real Madrid, leading to speculation about his future.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Manchester United is keen on signing Camavinga, although this interest isn’t new. The uncertainty surrounding Camavinga’s future has been ongoing, with United frequently mentioned as potential suitors alongside Arsenal.

Recent reports from the Daily Mail indicate that the 23-year-old could be made available as new Madrid manager Jose Mourinho evaluates his squad this summer. However, there is currently no clear indication of a deal progressing.

Despite signing two midfielders, Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos, this summer, it remains unclear whether Manchester United would pursue a third midfielder. The challenge for manager Michael Carrick will be fitting all three players into the squad, especially since Camavinga might not be content with a bench role, having faced similar challenges at Real Madrid.

Nevertheless, with the Red Devils set to compete in the Champions League next season, squad rotation could become essential, particularly after the exit of Casemiro and the injury to Manuel Ugarte.
