Liverpool has initiated contact with Monaco regarding winger Maghnes Akliouche, a target also sought by Paris Saint-Germain. According to Sky Sports News, the club is exploring the availability of the 24-year-old France international.

PSG has made multiple offers for Akliouche, with the latest bid estimated at £34m (€40m), which Monaco has not accepted thus far.

In recent international play, Akliouche sat on the bench during France's 6-4 loss to England in the World Cup third-place playoff. Last season, he played 31 matches in Ligue 1, contributing six goals and six assists.

Liverpool has already secured Victor Munoz from Osasuna for £34.5m. However, new manager Andoni Iraola emphasized the need for additional signings in a press conference ahead of their pre-season friendly against Sunderland.
