Coventry City has officially signed Loum Tchaouna, a promising winger, from Burnley for an undisclosed fee, widely reported to be around £20m. The 22-year-old Frenchman has committed to a five-year contract with the club.

Tchaouna, who joined Burnley from Lazio just last summer, made 32 appearances during his time at the club, netting three goals as the Clarets faced relegation from the Premier League.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Tchaouna stated, "I'm so excited to start this new season in the Premier League, I'm feeling good and ready for the challenge." He reflected on his previous experience in the top flight, saying, "I was at Burnley last season in the Premier League, which was incredible."

The young winger aims to bring his energy, determination, and leadership to Coventry City. He added, "I've played in Ligue 1, Serie A, and now I'm playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world, so I have a lot of experience for my young age. I can't wait for the new season."

Before his stint in England, Tchaouna developed through the youth ranks at Rennes and had a spell at Salernitana in Italy, showcasing his adaptability and skill across multiple top leagues.
