Manchester United is currently pursuing a deal to sign Louis Page, an 18-year-old midfielder from Leicester City. Recognized as the EFL Apprentice of the Year last season, Page is regarded as one of the most promising talents outside the top flight.

As an England Under-20 international, Page has already made 21 senior appearances for the Foxes, including five starts last season during their relegation from the Championship. His most recent appearance was in the Carabao Cup victory over Northampton last Saturday.

Negotiations for his transfer are reportedly ongoing, but Arsenal and Aston Villa have also expressed significant interest in the young player, who celebrated his 18th birthday last month.

This potential transfer could mark another exit for Leicester, following the departure of forward Jeremy Monga, 17, who recently joined Manchester City.

Page signed professional terms with Leicester in September 2025, which means that Manchester United must agree on a transfer fee with the League One side. At the time of his signing, Leicester hailed him as "one of the brightest talents in our system."

Having joined the club as an under-9, Page made his senior debut against Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup in August 2025, showcasing his early promise.
