Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler expressed optimism that Yankuba Minteh can still realize his dream move despite the club rejecting multiple offers from Liverpool during the recent transfer window. The Reds had bids of £50m and £60m turned down, with Brighton reportedly seeking around £70m for the talented winger.

Minteh, who joined Brighton from Newcastle for £30m in 2024, has made a significant impact, netting 10 goals and providing nine assists in 73 appearances for the Seagulls. Hurzeler commented on Minteh's commitment, stating, "He wears the Brighton colours, he wears the Brighton badge. He has been with us for two years now as part of the squad. He has achieved great things together with the boys."

If the whole team is successful and the individual shines then Yankuba will get a lot of attention again. We want to be successful as a club and then you can shine as individuals.
