Pete O’Rourke commented, “Liverpool are trying to put themselves in a position where they could be frontrunners for Ibrahim Mbaye.” The club aims to expedite negotiations in the coming days and hopes to wrap up a deal for the 18-year-old soon.

Mbaye, a Senegal international, brings a wealth of potential, showcasing pace, flair, and directness—qualities that Liverpool desperately needs after a lackluster offensive performance last season. With Mohamed Salah having departed the club, Liverpool is eager to find a suitable replacement.
