Liverpool is reportedly gearing up for the potential loss of Alisson Becker, as the club begins to explore the market for a new goalkeeper ahead of the next summer transfer window. According to Football Insider, the Reds have started identifying possible replacements for the Brazilian international, whose contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old has been a pivotal player for Liverpool this season, regularly featuring in both the Premier League and Champions League. However, recent mistakes, coupled with concerns regarding his age and injury history, have sparked debates about his long-term future with the team.

• Juventus showed interest in securing his services during the summer transfer window and may renew their pursuit in the upcoming months.
• Clubs in Brazil are also keeping an eye on the situation, with a possible return to his homeland becoming a viable option.

Liverpool had previously extended Alisson’s contract by another year, but current indications suggest the club is preparing for life without their seasoned shot-stopper.

In their search for a goalkeeper, Liverpool is assessing several options to bolster their squad. Pete O’Rourke has reported that the Merseyside outfit was linked with James Trafford, Diogo Costa, and Bart Verbruggen this summer but ultimately chose not to make formal moves for any of them.

Additionally, Giorgi Mamardashvili could seize the opportunity to become Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper. The Georgian international has made a strong impression when called upon and is eager to secure a regular starting position.

However, the club's ongoing search for alternatives indicates they are not taking any chances regarding their long-term plans. As Alisson approaches the end of his successful tenure at Anfield, making a strategic decision on their goalkeeping position will be crucial for Liverpool to remain competitive at the highest level.
