Around the 80th minute, while Real Madrid was leading, Mbappe attempted to take on defenders down the right flank. After delivering a pass to Vinicius, he briefly went to the ground before quickly rising. However, he immediately requested a substitution and proceeded to head down the tunnel without undergoing a medical assessment.

Alvaro Arbeloa, the manager of Real Madrid, was unable to provide clarity on Mbappe's condition post-match, stating,
“I don’t know, no idea. He had discomfort. And we’ll see how he progresses in the coming days.”

This uncertainty follows recent injuries to teammates Arda Guler and Eder Militao, both ruled out for the season just days prior. Early indications suggest that Mbappe may have sustained a hamstring strain, raising concerns for Los Blancos as they hope for a swift recovery.
