Haeran Ryu shot a four-under 68 on Saturday, securing a one-shot lead over Brooke Henderson after three rounds of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship. Nelly Korda, pursuing a historic third consecutive major title, carded a one-under 71, placing her four shots behind Ryu on a sunny yet windy day at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota.

Ina Yoon, who began the day with a five-shot lead, faced early struggles but managed a three-over 75, leaving her two shots off the lead. Meanwhile, Dewi Weber, ranked 210th in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings, birdied three of the last four holes to finish three shots back after another four-under 68. A Lim Kim joined her at that score.

Korda, alongside Alison Lee, trails by four shots, a crucial statistic considering that in the past 35 Women's PGA Championships, the eventual winner was either leading or within four shots after three rounds.

Korda has faced challenges on the greens, converting only seven of 11 putts from three to five feet, placing her 65th among the remaining 68 players. She expressed her difficulties, stating, "The greens are pretty slick... Putting in general, when it gets this windy, you have to calculate in the wind."

Ryu's score tied for the lowest of the day, following her 64 from Friday. She began strong, going four-under in her first seven holes, highlighted by a 28-foot eagle putt on hole seven. Despite a more challenging back nine, Ryu remains optimistic about her chances to win her first major.

Yoon, who previously set a tournament record with a 63 on Thursday, struggled with nerves, especially on the front nine, but managed to finish her last six holes in one under.

In contrast, Henderson, aiming for her second Women's PGA Championship title a decade after her first, expressed satisfaction with her performance, stating, "Definitely happy with where I'm at, and excited for tomorrow."
