Udinese has urged Italian football authorities to take immediate action following allegations made by their English striker Keinan Davis. The incident occurred during Saturday's 2-0 Serie A victory against Cagliari, where Davis claimed he was subjected to racist abuse late in the match.

The confrontation involved Davis and several Cagliari players, leading him to express his grievances on social media. He specifically accused Cagliari defender Alberto Dossena of making racist remarks, stating he "hopes Serie A takes action" against such behavior.

In response, Udinese expressed their full support for Davis, labeling the incident as "disgraceful" and "despicable." The club stated:

"Udinese Calcio hopes that the sports justice bodies, in whom we have the utmost confidence, will deal with the matter swiftly."

Cagliari, while condemning all forms of discrimination, expressed surprise and disappointment over the allegations, firmly denying that any racist language was used.

Davis, who joined Udinese from Aston Villa in 2023, has made a significant impact this season, netting 10 goals in 26 Serie A appearances. His previous loan spells include time at Nottingham Forest and Watford, showcasing his journey through various clubs.
