Akliouche is not the only name being considered; however, his anticipated price tag of €50–60 million makes him a significantly more affordable option compared to Barcola. Liverpool has begun exploring this opportunity, albeit without a formal bid at this time.

According to GIVEMESPORT, James Pearce from The Athletic noted that Liverpool approached Akliouche earlier in the transfer window. Pearce stated:

"They’ve certainly had some discussions about it. I was told yesterday that there had been an approach earlier on in the window for the Monaco right-winger, and he is just one of a number of targets being kind of assessed at the minute before they decide exactly what they’re going to do."

Akliouche is portrayed as a viable option rather than a confirmed target, with Liverpool keen on securing a deal that makes financial sense.

However, complications arise as reports suggest Akliouche prefers a move to PSG, which has an agreement with the player and is in negotiations with Monaco. Despite being less established than Barcola, Akliouche offers creativity and versatility on the right side.
