Following a disappointing 2-4 start to the season, the Indianapolis Colts have fired General Manager Chris Ballard, marking a significant shift in the organization. Owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon expects better performance, especially after a loss to the previously winless Tennessee Titans. With head coach Shane Steichen facing pressure and the team struggling defensively, the Colts may consider trading star running back Jonathan Taylor.

Taylor, who had an impressive 20 touchdowns and nearly 2,000 yards from scrimmage last season, could attract numerous suitors if made available. Comparisons have been drawn to the Carolina Panthers' trade of Christian McCaffrey, who garnered significant returns despite injury concerns.

Potential Trade Scenarios for Jonathan Taylor:

• New York Giants

  • Giants receive: RB Jonathan Taylor
  • Colts receive: RB Cam Skattebo, 2027 second-round pick, 2028 fourth-round pick
The Giants seek a workhorse back after struggling with a committee approach.

• Cincinnati Bengals

  • Bengals receive: RB Jonathan Taylor, 2027 fourth-round pick
  • Colts receive: RB Chase Brown, 2027 second-round pick, 2027 fifth-round pick
This move aims to bolster the Bengals' running game, which has not met expectations.

• Denver Broncos

  • Broncos receive: RB Jonathan Taylor, 2027 fifth-round pick
  • Colts receive: RB J.K. Dobbins, 2027 second-round pick, 2027 fourth-round pick
The Broncos look to improve their ground attack to support QB Bo Nix.

• Seattle Seahawks

  • Seahawks receive: RB Jonathan Taylor
  • Colts receive: RB Jadarian Price, 2027 second-round pick
With injuries impacting their running game, the Seahawks seek a top-tier back.

• Minnesota Vikings

  • Vikings receive: RB Jonathan Taylor
  • Colts receive: RB Jordan Mason, 2027 second-round pick, 2027 fifth-round pick
The Vikings aim to add depth and talent to their backfield.

As the trade deadline approaches on November 10, the future of Jonathan Taylor remains uncertain, but interest from multiple teams indicates his value in the league.
