Jon Rahm has kept his future with LIV Golf under wraps, stating he knows significant details but cannot disclose them. The league's future beyond this season is in jeopardy after the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund announced it would cease funding in April, raising questions about its viability.

As a prominent figure in LIV Golf, Rahm’s status has attracted speculation, especially as the league seeks new investment avenues. During a pre-event press conference ahead of the tournament at JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire, he commented on his communication with LIV executives, saying, "Yes. Well, we're in contact with them. We know a lot of what's going on, yeah. Not that I can share with you guys right now."

When asked if he felt optimistic about the league's future, Rahm replied, "I'm always optimistic. I play a game for a living. I can't really be too upset about how things are going in life."

Having joined LIV Golf at the start of 2024, Rahm was also questioned about his plans for next year, to which he responded, "I'm not going to share anything that I can't share with you guys right now."

This comes on the same day the Asian Tour announced a new partnership with the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, effectively severing ties with LIV, which had been lucrative since 2021.

Returning to action after a disappointing tied 46th finish at The Open, Rahm expressed frustration over a code of conduct warning he received for throwing his club. He admitted to lacking clarity on the new rules, stating, "I personally have no idea what the line is. No clue." He emphasized the need for better understanding of the guidelines moving forward.
