Wales manager Craig Bellamy encounters another setback as Joe Rodon suffers a hamstring injury during Leeds United's Premier League match against Brentford. Rodon limped off after just 33 minutes at Elland Road, raising concerns ahead of the upcoming Nations League fixtures.

The injury occurred following a challenge, prompting Rodon to signal for a substitution immediately. Despite his departure, Leeds managed a 1-1 draw thanks to a late goal from Dominic Calvert-Lewin, which equalized Kevin Schade's opener.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke confirmed the severity of Rodon's condition, stating, "Rodon (has) got a hamstring injury. Very painful injury, big blow if he is out for a while. We have to assess him. Hopefully he's not out too long. We do not have many senior centre-back options."

This injury comes as Dylan Lawlor, another defender, is expected to miss out due to a knee injury, further complicating Bellamy's plans. Rodon, with 62 caps for Wales, has been a regular starter, and his absence would significantly impact the team's upcoming matches against Portugal and Denmark on September 24 and 27, respectively.
