Jarrod Bowen has announced his intention to remain with West Ham United following the club's relegation to the Championship. Despite attracting interest from several Premier League teams, Bowen expressed his desire to stay after discussions with the club’s largest shareholder, Daniel Křetínský, in Prague.

In a statement to West Ham’s media channels, Bowen shared his thoughts:
“I feel like we’re moving in the right direction as a club. There’s a lot of thinking time over the summer and a lot of things that go in your head. But I look in years and years to come of when I retire, what’s going to bring me the most happiness. For me now that’s getting this club back into the Premier League.”

Bowen, who joined West Ham from Hull City in January 2020, reflected on his past experiences in the second tier, stating that he sees this commitment as a way to contribute to the club’s future. While his decision may impact his chances of being included in England coach Thomas Tuchel’s plans, the 29-year-old emphasized that staying is a “no-brainer” for him, especially as he holds a contract until 2030.

Several clubs, including Aston Villa, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Chelsea, have monitored his situation. Bowen described his meeting with Křetínský and board member Jiří Svarc as inspiring, noting, “The ambition that I got from them, certainly in terms of the direction the club wants to move in, interests me a lot. It didn’t take a lot for me, because this club means a lot to me.”
