Jamie George has encouraged England fans to embrace a unique talent when Noah Caluori, nicknamed ‘Air Caluori’, makes his debut against Fiji at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday.

The Saracens prodigy, only 19 years old, is set to come off the bench following a stellar season where he was named the Gallagher Premiership's breakthrough player for 2025-26 and is currently its leading try scorer. Known for his impressive aerial skills, Caluori is being mentored by Owen Farrell, who is helping him refine his game.

George stated:

• “Air Caluori is a special, special talent and I’m buzzing for him.”
• “He can be so influential on a game because there are very few people who have his athletic ability.”
• “We need to appreciate that he isn’t the finished article, he’s 19 years old and he’s on his first cap.”

Despite England facing a five-Test losing streak, including a heavy 45-21 defeat against South Africa, George remains optimistic. He acknowledged the fans' frustrations but emphasized the need to focus on improvements.

He reflected on the match against South Africa, stating:

• “Yes, the first 15 minutes weren’t good enough. Yes, the final 10 minutes weren’t good enough. But I’d be excited about the middle bit against the best team in the world.”

Looking ahead, George believes fans will witness significant improvement not only against Fiji but also in the upcoming match against Argentina next Saturday.
