Following the race's restart, Hamilton struggled to rejoin the leaders, while Mercedes celebrated a one-two finish at Monza. This result further widened the gap in the championship standings, with Hamilton now trailing George Russell by 10 points and leading Antonelli by a staggering 76 points.
