Kimi Antonelli's victory in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza will be etched in Formula 1 history, showcasing an extraordinary rise from 19th on the grid. Team principal Toto Wolff predicted this success, stating he sensed a win was imminent for one of his drivers before the race began.

Starting with George Russell on the front row and Antonelli at the back due to a grid penalty, expectations were modest. Wolff expressed confidence in both drivers, saying, "I thought one of the two is going to win. Either George, because he was on the front row, or Kimi because he's going to walk over water, here at Monza."

The race saw Antonelli make a stunning recovery. After a cautious start, he quickly climbed to 12th place when Charles Leclerc crashed, bringing out a red flag. Following the restart, he surged into the top ranks, reaching third by lap 13, just behind Russell and Max Verstappen.
