Israel supporters will have a presence at the upcoming Nations League match against the Republic of Ireland, but their participation will be limited. Amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, both fixtures in Group B3 are set to be played at neutral venues. The first match, with Israel as the designated home team, will occur at the Nagyerdei Stadion in Debrecen, Hungary on 27 September. Here, a small allocation of Israeli fans will be allowed to attend.

The reverse fixture is scheduled for October 4 in Serbia, where the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has confirmed that the game will be held entirely behind closed doors. The FAI stated, "The association appreciates the passion and commitment that Ireland supporters always show when following its teams around the world, but operational challenges and safety and security concerns led to this decision being made."

The Israel Football Association has communicated that a limited number of its supporters will be accommodated for the match in Hungary.

Calls for a boycott of both games have emerged, but the FAI previously indicated that such a move would have a "profound impact on the whole of Irish football."

This situation arises in the context of the ongoing conflict, which escalated after a Hamas-led attack on 7 October 2023, resulting in significant casualties. Protests advocating for a boycott of the matches have occurred outside the Dail, and previous friendly matches have faced disruptions from activists.
