Ipswich Town has successfully reached an agreement to sign Julio Enciso, a forward from Strasbourg. The 22-year-old Paraguay international showcased his talent under current Ipswich manager Gary O'Neil during the previous season at Strasbourg, prompting O'Neil to advocate for an early reunion at Portman Road.

This transfer marks a significant return for Enciso, who previously spent six months on loan at Ipswich from Brighton in 2025. His tenure at Strasbourg saw him earn high praise, with club officials believing he possessed the potential for a future move to Stamford Bridge, given that Strasbourg shares ownership with Chelsea through the BlueCo group.
