New Zealand showcased a stunning performance, defeating the Sharks 54-0 in their second match of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour on Saturday. The All Blacks scored eight tries without conceding any, displaying significant improvement from their previous match against the Stormers.

The forwards and kicking game set a solid foundation for the backs to excel, with Fehi Fineanganofo scoring two tries. Other scorers included Damian McKenzie, Caleb Clarke, Jordie Barrett, Kyle Preston, Timoci Tavatavanawai, and Sam Darry. Ruben Love contributed with seven successful conversions, showcasing his skill as a fly half.

Despite the resounding win, head coach Dave Rennie faced a setback as McKenzie had to leave the field before halftime due to an ankle injury.

In a notable moment, the Sharks featured Ma'a Nonu, a 44-year-old former All Black, who made his presence felt in the final 20 minutes. His performance included a heartfelt response to New Zealand's pre-match Haka, earning appreciation from the 14,759 fans at King's Park.

Looking ahead, the All Blacks face the Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday, followed by the first Test against the Springboks in Johannesburg a week later. The series will culminate in Baltimore on Saturday, September 12.
