Iliman Ndiaye has officially joined Manchester City from Everton in a deal valued at £65m. The transfer, finalized on deadline day, includes £60m upfront with an additional £5m in performance-related add-ons. The 26-year-old Senegalese winger has signed a five-year contract with the club, expressing his excitement about this significant opportunity.

Ndiaye stated, "I've worked my whole life for an opportunity like this. City are one of the best clubs in the world and I've seen them win everything as I've grown up. To be able to write my own chapter in a story that special is the chance of a lifetime and I'm determined to grab it with both hands."

Prior to this move, Ndiaye had been in discussions with Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League and was linked to a transfer to Tottenham, which ultimately fell through due to complications involving Richarlison.

This transfer coincides with Manchester City agreeing to pay a joint-British transfer record fee of £125m for Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, marking Ndiaye as one of several new arrivals at the club this summer.

Ndiaye's journey to this point has been remarkable. He began his career in the seventh tier of English football and had a significant trial with Sheffield United, which led to his initial signing. After a challenging start, he made his Premier League debut in March 2021 and played a crucial role in Sheffield United's return to the top flight in 2023. Following a stint at Marseille, he joined Everton, where he became a fan favorite, scoring 15 goals and providing four assists in 67 Premier League appearances before his move to City.
