Manchester City has finalized a deal valued at up to £65m to acquire Iliman Ndiaye from Everton. The agreement includes a guaranteed £60m plus an additional £5m in performance-related add-ons.

This development follows a tumultuous day for Tottenham Hotspur, who had also been in negotiations to sign Ndiaye. On Friday night, Tottenham reached a preliminary agreement with Everton, which involved Richarlison moving in the opposite direction. However, complications arose when Richarlison could not settle personal terms with Everton, who reportedly offered £35m for him.

In a heartfelt Instagram message, Richarlison expressed his frustrations, stating:

After everything I've been through in the last few years, I've decided that never again will anyone decide my future for me.

Despite the chaos, Richarlison confirmed his commitment to Tottenham, stating he remains at the club's disposal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham is exploring the possibility of signing Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea on a season-long loan.

Manchester City's move for Ndiaye comes on the heels of an £80m bid for Cody Gakpo from Liverpool, which appeared to be faltering. Liverpool had initiated discussions with City, contingent on finding a replacement for Gakpo, who is now likely to stay unless the Reds can secure another attacking option before the transfer deadline.
