During the live broadcast of England’s Nations League match against the Czech Republic on 6 October, pundits Ian Wright and Roy Keane experienced an unexpected surprise when the pitch sprinklers at Wembley activated.

As the broadcast unfolded, Wright was in the midst of delivering his analysis when the sprinklers suddenly drenched the area, causing both pundits to dash for cover.

Presenter Mark Pougatch lightheartedly remarked on the incident, noting that Wright had come prepared for any eventuality, showcasing a new hat during the segment.

This humorous moment added an unexpected twist to the pre-match coverage, demonstrating the unpredictable nature of live sports broadcasting.
