Lando Norris clinched victory from pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday, marking his and McLaren's first grand prix win of 2026. Despite being overtaken by team-mate Oscar Piastri at the start, Piastri later retired due to a gearbox failure.

Max Verstappen of Red Bull finished second, while championship leader Kimi Antonelli secured third place, completing the podium.

Lewis Hamilton, who faced a three-place grid penalty for impeding Piastri during qualifying, dropped from fourth to fifth after receiving a five-second penalty for speeding in the pit lane.
