Newly promoted Hull City has made headlines by signing Greece goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis from Olympiacos for a club-record fee. The 23-year-old joins the Tigers on a five-year contract, marking a significant investment for the club.

Although the exact fee remains undisclosed, it is believed to be around £20 million plus add-ons, shattering Hull's previous record of £13 million, set in 2016 when they acquired Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason.

Tzolakis has a rich history with Olympiacos, having made 131 appearances and secured eight trophies, including:

His impressive performances led to his international debut against Malta, where he has since earned nine caps.
