Henry Pollock has secured his future with Northampton Saints by signing a new multi-year contract extension, ensuring he remains at his boyhood club beyond the current season.

Having made a significant impact since debuting as a 17-year-old in 2022, Pollock delivered a standout Player of the Match performance in the Gallagher Premiership final last season. With 13 England caps and five British & Irish Lions caps, his stature in rugby continues to grow, highlighted by his recent association with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Talent Agency.

Pollock expressed his delight about re-signing, stating:

"I'm massively happy to re-sign with Saints, my boyhood club. It's an exciting place to be right now. We're in a great spot as a team, but it feels like there's still so much more growth in us."

He emphasized the importance of the team environment, saying:

"Some of my best mates are here, and every day everyone pushes each other to improve and be the best players and team we can be."

Pollock is motivated by the Premiership title they secured last season and aims for further success, particularly eyeing the Champions Cup.

Phil Dowson, Saints' Director of Rugby, praised Pollock's commitment, noting:

"We're delighted that Henry has committed his future to Saints. Keeping someone with both his talent and mindset is hugely important for the club."

Despite his contract negotiations sparking debate among fans, Pollock's new deal, reportedly over £400,000, positions him among the top earners in the Premiership, though it falls short of the £1m valuation set by Hearn. The conversation around Pollock's future highlights the evolving landscape of rugby, balancing tradition with modern commercial pressures.
