AC Milan has officially signed Goncalo Ramos from Paris St-Germain for a reported club record transfer fee of approximately £60 million. The 25-year-old forward from Portugal has agreed to a contract that extends until 2031, following an impressive tally of 45 goals during his three seasons at PSG.

Italian media has highlighted that this transfer fee surpasses 70 million euros (£60.2 million), marking it as the first major signing under new manager Ruben Amorim, who recently took over after replacing Massimiliano Allegri. Allegri's dismissal followed a dismal end-of-season run that resulted in Milan's failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Previously, Milan's record signing was Rafael Leao, who joined from Lille for about £42 million in 2019.

In the backdrop of this transfer, PSG is reportedly eyeing Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, a player also targeted by Liverpool. The summer planning for PSG is spearheaded by chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting adviser Luis Campos, and manager Luis Enrique, who are focused on adding high-profile talents to a squad that recently clinched its second consecutive Champions League title and another Ligue 1 championship.

However, PSG may also see some exits, with speculation surrounding the departures of midfielder Lee Kang-in and forward Randal Kolo Muani this summer.
