Oliver Glasner has called on Crystal Palace to secure victory in the Conference League final, aiming for the Europa League spot they were denied this season due to UEFA’s multi-club ownership regulations.

Last season's FA Cup winners found themselves relegated to the Conference League after it was determined that John Textor held controlling interests in both Palace and Lyon, who also qualified for the lower-tier competition. The south London club is set to face Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig this Wednesday, marking the conclusion of their inaugural European campaign under Glasner's management.

The Austrian manager, who previously led Palace to the Community Shield in August and clinched the Europa League title with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2022, confirmed his departure at the end of the season back in January. On Tuesday, he shared that the Palace players organized a farewell party for him, during which he expressed hopes for them to win a third trophy in twelve months and reclaim their rightful place in the Europa League next season.
