However, the drive was marred by a significant hit, leading to yet another visit to the infamous blue medical tent, a scenario Giants fans hope to see less frequently after a challenging 2025 season.

Following the Giants' 13-10 loss to the Vikings, Dart expressed his irritation with the recurring visits to the tent:

"I really respect the rules and the thought behind the NFL in keeping players healthy. At the same time, I'm still puzzled by just feeling like, every time I get hit, I find my way in there. Which, at times, I'm trying to wrap my head around."

The hit that caused Dart's latest trip came from Vikings safety Jay Ward, who blindsided him after a missed blocking assignment by Tyrone Tracy Jr.. Tracy acknowledged the error, stating:

"There isn't really anything I can do at that point besides apologize and tell him it isn't going to happen again, which it won't."

After being evaluated, Dart returned to the field, showcasing his athleticism by evading defenders and finding Fields for a 15-yard touchdown. He praised the offense's resilience:

"Thought it was a good drive by the offense in just being resilient... Malachi, just showing what he's been consistently showing all through camp."

Dart's ability to absorb hits has been a recurring theme throughout his career, prompting advice from Troy Aikman to prioritize self-protection. Nonetheless, Dart remains steadfast in his approach:

"I'm going to get hit if I'm in the pocket or outside the pocket... We're not playing soccer out here. You're going to get hit, things happen. It's just part of the game."

Despite the concerns, Giants coach John Harbaugh expressed surprise at the decision to send Dart to the blue tent but did not challenge the protocol.
