Galatasaray has publicly criticized referees in Turkey, accusing them of harboring "evil inside" just days after severing ties with the Turkish Football Federation.

This bold statement emerged during Galatasaray's impressive 3-0 victory over Fenerbahce on Sunday. At half-time, while leading 1-0, the club took to social media to express their frustration regarding officiating, particularly highlighting two unawarded penalties.

In their posts on X, they stated:

Despite the two penalties not awarded to us, we're closing out the first half 1-0 ahead. Despite these referees, we're still leading 1-0. We see what you're doing, your plans, the evil inside you. This order won't go on like this. We're here, we won't be silent! In the end, the good ones will win again!

Victor Osimhen opened the scoring for Galatasaray, followed by Baris Yilmaz and Lucas Torreira adding to the tally in the second half. This victory propelled Galatasaray to a commanding seven-point lead over Fenerbahce at the top of the table, with only three games remaining in the season.

Fenerbahce faced their own struggles, missing a penalty in the first half and subsequently losing Ederson, their former Manchester City goalkeeper, who received a red card from referee Yasin Kol, leaving them down to ten men.
