Despite a medical timeout for Mensik’s neck issue, Zverev capitalized on his opponent's struggles to extend his lead.

In the third set, Mensik rallied back, utilizing a mix of booming serves and clever drop shots to claim a set. However, Zverev quickly regained control, closing out the match decisively. Mensik's impressive journey to the semi-finals included notable victories over Alex de Minaur, Andrey Rublev, and Joao Fonseca, establishing him as a future contender.

Zverev's upcoming final marks his second attempt at the title in Paris, having lost to Carlos Alcaraz two years ago. Meanwhile, Flavio Cobolli reached his first Grand Slam final after receiving a walkover due to Matteo Arnaldi's viral illness. Cobolli's path included a significant win against Felix Auger-Aliassime in the quarter-finals.
