West Ham United has secured the permanent signing of Estelle Cascarino, the France international defender, after an impressive initial six-month loan from Juventus. Cascarino, 29, has committed to a three-year contract with the club, marking her transition from Serie A back to the Women's Super League.

During her loan period, Cascarino made 12 appearances across all competitions, playing a pivotal role in helping West Ham climb from the bottom of the table to 10th place. Her contributions were significant enough to earn her a recall to the France national squad in February.

In her own words, Cascarino expressed her joy:

I feel really happy to be back at West Ham United. I made the decision quickly that I wanted to be back here permanently. From the beginning, this club has felt like home. I enjoyed every minute of my time here. I'm looking forward to being here now for pre-season, to working with Rita Guarino and her staff and this group of players.

Prior to joining West Ham, Cascarino made 49 appearances for Juventus, winning the league title, Coppa Italia, and Supercoppa Italiana in the 2023-24 season. Her impressive career also includes stints at notable clubs such as Manchester United, Lyon, Paris FC, Bordeaux, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Manager Guarino commented on the signing, stating:

Her impact when she arrived in January was crucial in us achieving our aim of securing our status as a WSL club.
