Erling Haaland is set to make a comeback as Enzo Maresca confirmed his fitness for Manchester City’s clash against Aston Villa this Saturday. Having been an unused substitute in City's recent 5-1 Champions League victory over AEK Athens, Haaland stands out as a prime captaincy choice. He boasts eight goals from seven league matches this season but has struggled against Villa, failing to score in his last four Premier League outings against them.

As alternatives, Chelsea's attackers are gaining attention, particularly Joao Pedro (£7.9m) with five goals and three assists. Cole Palmer (£9.7m), who takes penalties, might have a higher potential.

Injuries complicate the midfield landscape. Bukayo Saka (£9.6m) sustained a quadriceps injury during the Champions League, joining Dominik Szoboszlai (£6.8m) and Antoine Semenyo (£8.3m) on the sidelines. However, City's midfield may benefit from reduced rotation now that Semenyo is out.

Rayan Cherki (£8m) is attracting transfers, but Phil Foden (£6.8m) made headlines with a hat-trick last week. Jeremy Doku (£7.5m) has also contributed significantly with three goal involvements in his last three games.

Brighton’s players are dominating the fantasy scene, with Maxim de Cuyper (£5.3m) leading all assets. He doubles as an attacking asset and defender, having five goal involvements in seven games. Pascal Gross (£6.2m) is another key player, currently with nine goal involvements and on penalties.

Defensively, Luka Vuskovic (£5.1m) has been vital for Brighton, who lead the league with five clean sheets. At the same time, Tarik Muharemovic (£5m) and Bobby Thomas (£4m) are also worth considering for their defensive contributions.

As the weekend approaches, fantasy managers face crucial decisions with injuries reshaping their lineups.
