Cagliari striker Yael Trepy is currently in intensive care following a concerning incident at a swimming pool in Sardinia. The 20-year-old reportedly lost consciousness, prompting immediate medical attention.

On Monday, Cagliari released a statement confirming that Trepy is receiving treatment at Santissima Annunziata Civil Hospital in Sassari. According to the Sardinian newspaper Unione Sarda, he was airlifted to the hospital after the incident occurred at a villa on Sunday afternoon.

Cagliari stated, "The club is in constant contact with the healthcare facility and the player's family and is closely monitoring the progress of his condition." They further expressed, "At this time, Cagliari Calcio's thoughts are with Yael and his family.
