Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur has identified critical areas for improvement as the team aims to support Lewis Hamilton in his quest for an eighth drivers' title during the second half of the 2026 Formula 1 season. Currently, Hamilton sits 50 points behind Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes, who leads the standings.

Despite a consistent performance in the first 11 races, Hamilton faces a challenging gap, with Mercedes showing a performance advantage over Ferrari. Vasseur emphasized that to keep Hamilton competitive, Ferrari must enhance their overall performance, particularly in the engine department.
