Non-league clubs Altrincham and Cray Wanderers will host the BBC's selected FA Cup first-round matches next month.

Altrincham, competing in the National League, will welcome former winners Notts County at Moss Lane on Saturday, 7 November at 17:15 GMT (broadcast on BBC Two/iPlayer).

The following day, Cray Wanderers, from the seventh-tier Isthmian League, will make their debut at this stage by facing Stockport County, the current League One leaders. This match is scheduled for Sunday, 8 November at 14:15 GMT (also on BBC 2/iPlayer).

Cray Wanderers secured their place in the first round after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Bedford Town, following a thrilling 2-2 draw in their replay on Tuesday.

Notably, Cray is recognized as London’s oldest football club, predating the FA Cup, which first took place in 1872. Meanwhile, Altrincham boasts a remarkable giant-killing record, having achieved 17 wins against league clubs without ever competing in the Football League.
