Everton has officially signed Hannah Blundell on a permanent deal following her successful loan spell last season. The 32-year-old defender, who made 10 appearances for the club while on loan from Manchester United, became a free agent after her contract with United ended in June.

Blundell expressed her excitement about rejoining Everton, stating, "It is a proud moment for me and my family and is something I wanted to do. As soon as I knew Scott Phelan was going to be the manager, it was an easy decision. I want to play alongside these players."

Reflecting on her time with the team, she mentioned the camaraderie displayed during the World Sevens tournament in May, emphasizing the club's special nature. "I am extremely proud to be wearing the badge properly this time. Hopefully we can create some special memories together."

With three caps for England, Blundell previously spent five years at Manchester United, where she made almost 100 appearances. Her football journey began in Chelsea's academy, where she played for the first team for eight years before moving on in 2021. After giving birth to her daughter in March 2025, she made her return to football later last year, marking a significant chapter in her career.
