Jude Bellingham ignited the scoring in the 19th minute with a dazzling solo effort, weaving past three defenders and finishing low past Málaga goalkeeper Alfonso Herrero. Just seven minutes later, an own goal from Herrero doubled Madrid's lead after he mishandled a shot from Kylian Mbappé, allowing Bellingham to head the rebound into the net.

Mbappé then made it 3-0 in the 30th minute, expertly volleying a cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold. The second half saw a quieter affair until substitute Arda Guler capped the victory in added time, finishing a slick move with a tap-in from Vinícius Júnior’s return pass.
