Real Zaragoza goalkeeper Esteban Andrada received a 13-match ban after a violent incident during a derby against Huesca. The altercation occurred at the end of the match on Sunday, where Andrada was already sent off for a second yellow card in stoppage time.

In a moment of aggression, Andrada sprinted towards Huesca captain Jorge Pulido and punched him in the face, igniting a mass brawl on the pitch. This chaotic scene also led to the dismissal of Huesca goalkeeper Dani Jimenez and Zaragoza's Dani Tasende.

The Spanish football federation imposed a 12-game suspension for the punch, adding to the automatic one-match ban from the red card, totaling a significant penalty for the goalkeeper.

Andrada, 35, expressed deep remorse, stating, "The truth is I'm very, very sorry for what happened. It's not a good image for the club, for the fans, and especially not for a professional like myself."

He also apologized to Pulido, acknowledging his mistake:

I lost focus at that moment, and well, I am here for whatever consequences the league may give me.

Following the incident, Zaragoza released a statement condemning Andrada's actions and announced they would take appropriate disciplinary measures. The team remains in the relegation zone alongside Huesca after suffering a 1-0 loss in the match.
