Despite the challenges, both players showcase remarkable resilience. Pollock recently scored a hat-trick against Fiji, while Freeman’s active minutes total 2,052 surpass Pollock’s 1,533 due to his frequent starts. Freeman's stats reveal a total of 7,000 minutes of high-level rugby since September 2023, raising concerns about player fatigue.

Freeman opened up about feeling “built-up anxiety” during the Lions tour and acknowledged struggles with mental health, which were exacerbated by a hamstring injury last November, providing him some much-needed recovery time. Now back in form, he seeks to make a mark against Argentina, potentially resolving ongoing debates about his optimal position on the field.

Selected to wear 13 and 14 in recent tests, Freeman has adapted well, fulfilling various roles due to team injuries. He expressed a willingness to play wherever needed, stating, "I’ll go where I’m needed for the team. As long as I’m involved, I don’t mind."
