A recent incident involving England Under-16 players during a training camp in Turkey has been attributed to an "internal matter" that was swiftly addressed, according to the Football Association (FA).

An online video clip from late 2025 captured the altercation, which took place in a hotel room. The footage shows two players engaged in a physical fight as several teammates film and cheer them on.

The FA confirmed that:

• The issue was reported during the Under-16s camp in October 2025.
• The situation was resolved promptly, with no further action required.

An FA spokesperson stated, "We were made aware of an internal matter during an Under-16s camp in October 2025. This was quickly resolved at the time."

The video depicts one player, dressed in official England kit, attempting to seize a phone from another player who is lying on the bed. This confrontation escalates into a scuffle, culminating in punches, kicks, and grappling, including an attempt at a headlock.

The incident occurred while the Under-16s were in Sedi, where they played matches against Turkey, Wales, and Portugal throughout October and November 2025.
