Gloucester-Hartpury wing Mia Venner and Exeter scrum-half Flo Robinson have officially secured their first full-time England contracts as part of the 32 deals announced for the 2026-27 season.

Mia Venner, who debuted for England at just 17 years old in 2020, faced a lengthy wait for her second cap, which finally came against Italy in the 2025 Six Nations. Despite finishing as a joint-top try-scorer in the 2024-25 PWR season, Venner was not selected for the World Cup. However, she contributed to England's success in clinching their eighth consecutive Six Nations title this year, playing key roles in matches against Scotland and Italy as head coach John Mitchell tested various back-three options.

Flo Robinson, aged 24, is expected to provide essential scrum-half coverage for Natasha Hunt and Lucy Packer, minimizing the likelihood of Claudia Moloney-MacDonald and Helena Rowland needing to shift from their usual positions in the back line.

In addition to Venner and Robinson, Lilli Ives Campion also received her first full-time contract, having become England's most experienced second row during a challenging Six Nations campaign. Demelza Short, a teenager with four appearances this season, is among six players awarded transition contracts.

Notably, veterans Marlie Packer, Natasha Hunt, and Alex Matthews, all part of England's World Cup victories in 2014 and 2025, continue to play pivotal roles as the squad prepares for upcoming matches.

Charlie Hayter, England Rugby's head of women's performance, emphasized the competitive spirit within the squad, stating, "Today's announcement recognizes a group of competitive and committed players who continue to drive standards every day."

Looking ahead, England will face Australia, Canada, and New Zealand in Manchester, Exeter, and London respectively this September, followed by two Tests against Canada and one against the United States in October. Their quest for a record-extending ninth successive Six Nations title kicks off away to Wales on April 10.
