American Emma Navarro secured her first title in over a year by defeating top seed Victoria Mboko at the Strasbourg Open. The 25-year-old former world number eight showcased an impressive performance, winning the match with scores of 6-0, 5-7, 6-2. This victory marks her third WTA title and her first on clay, providing a much-needed boost ahead of the French Open starting Sunday.

Navarro reflected on her journey, stating, "It's kind of been a little bit of a rocky year and a half or so, but I think we put in a lot of really good work." She entered the tournament ranked 39th.

In other tournament news, Learner Tien, a 20-year-old American, triumphed at the Geneva Open, defeating Argentina's Mariano Navone with scores of 3-6, 6-3, 7-5 to claim the second ATP title of his career.
