Despite Norwich's 1-0 loss to Stoke City, Knapper was thankful for the Potters providing him a workspace at the bet365 Stadium.

Knapper voiced a collective frustration among EFL clubs regarding the timing of the matches, suggesting it complicated the transfer process: "It adds unnecessary pressure and logistical challenges... the less drama we can have, the better."

Colchester United manager Danny Cowley criticized the scheduling as "crazy," expressing disbelief at the lack of foresight from decision-makers. Cowley remarked, "The fact they put a full schedule of fixtures on is just not joined up in their thinking."
