Jack Draper, the British tennis star, has made a significant comeback by reaching the Eastbourne quarter-finals after overcoming a series of injury challenges. The 24-year-old expressed that his recent injuries left his confidence levels "below the floor."

Draper secured his place in the last eight with a solid victory over compatriot Jack Pinnington Jones, winning the match with scores of 7-5, 6-4. This match marked his first competitive appearance in over two months, as a knee injury had sidelined him since the Barcelona Open in April.

Reflecting on his journey, Draper acknowledged the difficulties he faced:

• He has played only 13 matches in the last year due to ongoing injuries.
• He opted out of competing at Queen's to ensure he was fully prepared.

Looking ahead, Draper is set to face Gabriel Diallo from Canada in the quarter-finals on Thursday.
