Double Olympic champion Duncan Scott showcased his dominance by winning the men's 200m individual medley title at the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships in London. The 28-year-old swimmer, who has previously secured silver medals in this event at the last two Olympics, delivered a stellar performance, finishing with a time of 1:56.08. This victory not only marks his return to form but also qualifies him for the upcoming European Aquatics Championships in Paris this summer.

Scott outpaced Evan Jones, who took second place, while Max Litchfield earned the bronze medal. Reflecting on his performance, Scott remarked, "It was pretty good, I think. In terms of my technique, my strokes and transitions between them felt pretty good, and I'm happy – that's a good place for me to be at this time of the season."

Earlier in the competition, Oliver Morgan made waves by winning the 50m backstroke, setting a new personal best of 24.36. Meanwhile, Eva Okaro claimed her second title of the week in the women's 50m butterfly, finishing with a personal best of 25.95 and breaking the sub-26-second mark for the first time. Okaro expressed her joy, stating, "I'm really happy with that. The 50m is a bit of a fun one for me, but I really enjoyed that race. I wanted to race the event to break up the meet a bit, but I'm also quite good at a splash and dash, so why not!"
