On Sunday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs, Daniel Jones aims to not only help the Indianapolis Colts avoid an 0-2 start but also to break free from his notorious prime-time struggles. With a career record of 1-15 in prime-time games, Jones holds the worst winning percentage of any starting quarterback with a minimum of ten starts since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger.

The Path Forward

This matchup against the Chiefs marks Jones' first prime-time start with the Colts, following his previous struggles with the New York Giants. His only prime-time victory came in 2022 against Washington, where he threw for 160 yards.

As Jones prepares for this critical game, he acknowledges the need for improved execution and rhythm, stating, "We didn't create a rhythm... We didn't play well enough." The stakes are high as he seeks to turn his prime-time narrative around.
