This week's sports landscape features significant developments across various leagues.

1. Lamar Jackson's Injury
Lamar Jackson heads to IR with a thumb injury after just one play in his return to the lineup for the Baltimore Ravens. He suffered the injury when his hand collided with a defender. Coach Jesse Minter confirmed that Jackson will miss at least four games, and backup Tyler Huntley also exited with turf toe, leaving Joe Fagnano to struggle in the remainder of the game.

2. Florida State Moves On from Mike Norvell

3. WNBA Championship for the Valkyries
The Golden State Valkyries clinched their first WNBA title with a narrow 68-63 victory over the Atlanta Dream. Gabby Williams led the charge with 30 points, showcasing resilience after a slow start.

4. Cowboys' Shock Loss
The Dallas Cowboys faced a dramatic 33-30 overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals, surrendering a 14-point fourth-quarter lead. This defeat marked a significant low for the Cowboys, who were previously regarded as contenders for the NFC East. Former Dallas quarterback Ben DiNucci criticized the team's performance as "embarrassing."

5. College Football Updates
As the college football season intensifies, Ohio State struggles with a 30-18 loss to USC and the need for a freshman quarterback. The Big Ten faces scrutiny as it appears to be losing its national title dominance, with several teams underperforming as the playoff race heats up.
