In a stunning display of viewership, Conor McGregor's return at UFC 329 attracted nearly 16 million viewers across Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America. Following the success of UFC Freedom 250 in June, UFC 329 shattered records, achieving the highest number of concurrent streams for any live event on the platform.

On Thursday, Paramount+ released data from Nielsen and Adobe Analytics, revealing that UFC 329 garnered 15.9 million total viewers, with 14.3 million of those coming from the U.S. This event surpassed its predecessor, achieving a peak concurrent stream of 8.3 million, compared to 7.9 million for the White House event.

Despite the immense interest surrounding McGregor's comeback after a five-year hiatus due to a severe leg injury, the fight ended abruptly. McGregor faced Max Holloway, a fighter he had previously defeated in 2013, but suffered a leg injury just 69 seconds into the bout, leading to a first-round TKO victory for Holloway.

In response to the outcome, McGregor has requested a change of the result to a no contest, though success in this appeal seems unlikely.

Notably, UFC events now dominate the viewership landscape, occupying six of the top 10 peak concurrent events on Paramount+. UFC 329 and UFC Freedom 250 rank as number two and three, respectively, alongside other significant events such as UFC 324, UFC 328, UFC 326, and UFC 325.
